Signed on a short term contract after his release from Marseille in October 2015, Bangoura was part of an eclectic period of recruitment for Town with plenty of players brought in, often from overseas.
The Senaglese midfielder appeared for Town in two games, both of which were 2-0 defeats. He made his debut as a substitute against Oxford United in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy, before his sole start at The Den against Millwall eleven days later. An unimpressive performance saw Bangoura substituted, dropped to the bench for the next game, and finally released without making another matchday squad at the end of 2015
