A London born, highly-rated attacking right-back who started his career at Chelsea, spending twelve years at Stamford Bridge having joined as a twelve year-old, Dabo arrived at Swindon Town on loan in January 2017, along with fellow Chelsea starlets Charlie Colkett and Islam Feruz. All three players made their debut in a 2-1 win at Bolton Wanderers that raised hopes of the Town pulling away from the drop zone.
Unfortunately, it wasn't to be, and the Town were relegated at the end of the season - Dabo was the most impressive of the Chelsea loanees, making fifteen appearances and scoring once - a twenty-yard strike that put the Town in the lead against local rivals Oxford, only for the U's to turn the game around in the second half.
