Goalkeeper Henry was part of the Bristol City set up at youth levels before joining Swindon on an academy contract in 2015, and he was thrust into first team action at the age of just 17 at the back end of the 2015/16 season as Town tried out a few different goalkeepers with Lawrence Vigouroux out of favour.
Initially becoming a regular feature on the bench with the Belford brothers and Jake Kean amongst the starting keepers, Henry was given the gloves for the final two games of the season against Rochdale, in which he saved a penalty, and Shrewsbury, where he kept his first clean sheet. The following season, he made seven first team appearances and received a callup to the England U20 side - four of these coming in the EFL Trophy, where he again demonstrated his aptitude for saving penalties, keeping out three to secure a 3-1 shootout victory over local rivals Oxford.
That proved to be the highlight of Henry’s Town career - despite being kept on a succession of one year contracts and regularly being used as the backup goalkeeper until 2020, Henry made just one more appearance, in 2017 against West Ham U23 in the same competition - and went out on eleven different loan spells at local non-league clubs.
After finally being released in 2020, Henry joined Bath City.
