After starting his Swindon career on the left side of defence, Horlock eventually progressed to a central midfield role. It was from here that "Super Kev" played a major part in Swindon's Second Division Championship season, scoring a magnificent 12 league goals, and he became a Northern Irish international.

Was sold the following season for a club record £1.5 million.
