Signed from Maidstone United in August 2015, the exceptionally versatile Iandolo was initially a central midfielder but was often deployed on the left flank, at left back and even, briefly under John Sheridan - at centre back during his Town career.
Scouted playing against Swindon’s U18 side for SEFA Scholars (alongside Kaiyne Woolery), Iandolo initially signed a one-year professional deal and made his debut as a substitute in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy against Newport as a second half substitute a month later. Since then he has made between ten and twenty appearances for the first team in each of his six Town seasons, never truly establishing himself as a first team regular but always doing enough to win a new contract. His first Football League goal came from a wonderful long range free-kick against Barnet in January 2018 - though a harsh observer might have considered it an overhit cross.
The 2021/22 season was the breakthrough season that many had begun to think would never come for Iandolo. As one of just eight senior players who remained at the club through the summer’s legal wranglings and takeover battles, he clearly impressed incoming manager Ben Garner and would go on to play more minutes during the season than any other player in a Town shirt, and make more starting appearances than in his previous six Town seasons combined. His run of games coincided with nailing down a position initially as Town’s regular left back, although an injury crisis in midfield and the signing of Joe Tomlinson pushed him into central midfield for the conclusion of the campaign, where he also impressed. His season came to a heartbreaking end with a sudden-death penalty miss against Port Vale in the playoff semi final, a game in which he’d been Town’s standout player.
Iandolo signed a new contract in November 2021 to take him into an eighth season in Town colours, by far the club’s longest serving player and now seemingly an established member of the first team. Unfortunately 2022/23 was something of a step backwards, with an injury in pre-season meaning he didn’t start a game until late October, and when he returned to the team it was generally in an unfamiliar left attacking midfield role. Across his 17 league starts that season, he was fielded at left wing, left midfield, left back and central midfield, his versatility again proving a double-edged sword, and he was another who was linked with a move away from the club in the January window, with former boss Scott Lindsey apparently interested in a reunion with Iandolo at Crawley. In early March, he picked up a heel injury in training which kept him out for the remainder of the season.
In the summer of 2023, Iandolo departed Town to join former manager Ben Garner at Colchester United. In total, he made 125 starts for Town, and at the point where Iandolo left, only Rob Hunt had made more in the third decade of the 2000s.
