One of Danny Williams' first signings for Swindon in August 1965, Keyworth was originally a wing-half who played alongside Williams at Rotherham. A move to Leicester saw Keyworth move up into a forward position, and in was from here that Williams moved to sign him.

Unfortunately, Keyworth hadn't really recovered from an injury he picked up at Leicester, and he made just six appearances - his contract was cancelled at the end of the season.
