A defender who played six times for Town across two loan spells from Derby County during the first part of the 2014/15 season, Lelan made his Town debut on the left hand side of a three man defence against Scunthorpe United on the first day of the season. Competing with Raphael Rossi Branco to be the third man in the defence alongside Nathan Thompson and Jordan Turnbull, Lelan made three starts - none of them consecutive - and three substitute appearances totalling less than half an hour before being recalled by his parent club. His final Town appearance came in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy defeat to Newport on 23rd September.
Lelan was released by Derby at the end of that season, and later played for Northampton, Crawley and Aldershot as well as making one appearance for Kenya, the country of his father’s birth, in 2016.
