A French midfielder who linked-up with Swindon during the latter stages of pre-season in 2019. He featured in the loss against Coventry City and scored in the 6-0 win over Melksham Town which was enough to earn him a short-term contract.
However, shortly after signing for the club, Anthony Grant was made available by Shrewsbury Town which manager Richie Wellens opted to pursue. The arrival of Grant and his subsequent form significantly dented Sanokho’s chances of first team football throughout his Town career.
After a handful of games as an unused sub, Sanokho made his full debut - a solid display - in the 1-0 loss against Bristol Rovers in the Football League Trophy. His only other appearances was a 15 minute cameo in the FA Cup loss to Cheltenham Town and playing the full 90 minutes of Town’s 7-0 win over Westbury United in the Quarter-Final of the Wiltshire Premier Shield.
Sinokho was released by the club in January 2020 with the Frenchman being given the opportunity to sign for Town owner Lee Power’s other club, Waterford.
